What is personal Data?
The meaning of “personal data” is defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). According to the new regulation, personal data includes all information that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person. This can include for example, your rightful name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth. Even information on how you can use this or other websites may contain personal data.
Providing this Website
When visiting this website our service provider will collects access data in log files. These log files are used to provide statistics as well as for detection and defense against atacks. Recorded IP addresses are kept by our service provider for 7 days before they are made anonymous. But we will always only have access to annonymised IP addresses.
Cookies and CDN
Cookies are small data packs which are stored on your PC when you open a website. These cookies allow an improvement of your browsing experience as soon as you visit the website again. Our site does not set any permanent cookies. We only set one session cookie which is erased as soon as you leave the site. It is a PHP-Session-ID (PHPSESSID) which we use to manage the language settings. Beyond this we use so called CDNs "Content Delivery Networks". Those are server networks which provide Java scripts and designs (CSS) for the proper functioning of our site on a multitude of devices. There is certainly some kind of tracking when these files are called up.
Collecting and Processing of Personal Data
We only collect and process personal data to the extent to which you provide them. If you contact us via email or phone we will use those forms of communication to respond to your request. If a business relationship will develop from first contact then we will collect more data to the extent required to fulfill our obligations. Among these are: Form of address, title, name, address, email, phone number, and possibly fax number, bank account information and date of birth.
Duration of Data Storage
Your personal data will be deleted or the processing will be restricted as soon as the data has met the purpose for which it was stored. Storage of the data beyond this may be possible if this is stipulated by European or national legislators in EU directives, laws or other regulations to which the controller is subject. The data will be deleted or its processing will be restricted when a prescribed deadline expires, unless it is necessary to continue storing the data to conclude or perform a contract.
Transferring Data to Third Parties
We generally do not transmit your data to third parties. Exception to this could be a legal obligation or the need to fulfill our contract with the help of service providers. Typically shipping companies or banks would be those service providers. These service providers may only use your data in accordance with our mandate.
Your Rights
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed by us. If this is the case, we will gladly provide you with information about this personal data and the information listed in Art. 15 GDPR. In addition, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GPDR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GPDR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) under the respective legal conditions.
You have the right to object to the processing under the statutory conditions (Art. 21 GDPR).
Irrespective of these rights and the possibility of asserting another administrative or legal redress, you may at any time exercise your right to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular, in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the location of the alleged infringement if you are of the opinion that the processing of personal data affecting you infringes data protection regulations (Article 77 GDPR).
